How It Started
Green Pastures Cow Farm began in 1994 when the Whitfield family bought a small plot of overgrown land with two dairy cows and a lot of hope. What started as a way to put fresh milk on the family table grew into a farm the whole community now relies on.
Today the farm is run by the second and third generation of Whitfields, who still believe in the same values their grandparents started with: slow growth, healthy animals, and honest food.

What We Believe In
The principles behind every decision we make on the farm.
Slow, Careful Growth
We'd rather stay small and do right by our animals than expand past what our land and our care can support.
Rotational Grazing
We rotate our herd across pasture sections so grass can recover and cows always have fresh ground to graze.
Community First
Our milk, cheese, and beef go straight to neighbors, local shops, and the farmers market โ no middlemen.
